Habijax (a Habitat Affiliate)Case Study: D’Alessandro was asked to raise $2,000,000 for its Superbuild XXXIX Campaign in six months. Super Bowl XXXIX was hosted in the Jacksonville in February 2005. This is one of Habitat for Humanity’s most successful affiliates but needed D’Alessandro to act as its Development Office while it was searching for both an Executive Director and a Director of Development. Working as a team with HabiJax, D’Alessandro was able to raise both the cash and in-kind donations needed to meet the campaign goal in time for the Super Bowl. Prior to the big game an even bigger event happened – the keys to the 39th home were given to a new homeowner with NFL players helping to move furniture into the home.
